South Coast Branch Surf Life Saving have had installed on a Toyota 4 x 4 Land Cruiser with alloy tray, a CouplerTec heavy duty electronic rust prevention.
This vehicle has undergone two six monthly inspections for RUST.
The results of the second inspection shows the vehicle in as good as new condition. This is very important, as Surf Life Saving is a voluntary organisation, finance for gear and equipment is always a priority and hard to get, so attention to care of equipment is of a high importance.
The results of NO RUST, HIGH GLOSS of paint, a BLOOM appearance of the alloy tray was great satisfaction to all concerned.
The Cruiser is principally used on the beach, to the waters edge at times laden with Surf Sports event equipment, or surf rescue equipment. The vehicle has low kilometers and when not in use is stored beach side, regularly encountering salt air conditions.
It is well cleaned and hosed under body and tray after every beach use, with NO special extra treatment.
The Associations Gear and Equipment personnel are proud of the vehicle appearance and carry out all regular maintenance, and cleaning services.
The CouplerTec electronic rust prevention is working 100%. This is clearly evident by the appearance of the Toyota Land Cruiser.

Mac's Engineering in conjunction with certain Coal Mines within Central Queensland ran a testing program utilizing Couplertec 4 Coupler Heavy Duty Systems over a period of 18 months.
The Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club has had a COUPLERTEC installed on our last two surf rescue 4WD's; a Ford Courier and more recently a Holden Rodeo. Woolamai Beach, on Phillip Island, is one of the harshest marine enviroments in Australia. We receive large south westerly swells and strong salt-ridden winds. Rusting equipment is an inherent problem we are faced with.
Approximately four years ago, we were approached by Couplertec to trial a product that claimed to electronically inhibit rust and protect the vehicle from rusting even in extreme working environments. We agreed to try your product and targeted our beach patrol vehicles.
